The Direction and Original Soundtrack is signed by Walther Neto, with extensive experience in Production, Direction, Musical Direction, and Composition, has been active since 1986 in the artistic circuit having been Musical Director for several artists, such as Cauby Peixoto, Miele, Leandro and Leonardo, Roberta Miranda.

He joined TV as a composer and arranger for children’s programs from Simone TV SBT, Mariana TV SBT, Agente G Record TV, having started studies in technical production and direction in the 1990s when he begins to work in TV productions and soundtracks for Cinema.

He directed more than 30 Sports Documentaries and TV PGMs such as: Rally Dos Sertões (1996 to 2012), BSOP, Troller DAKAR 2000, Mitsubishi Dakar 2002, Supercross, Master Serie Poker (Morocco 2012), in addition to TV series such as: Invasion MGM, Christmas Specials MGM, Contigo Soap Opera Award, Image and audio Director of more than 15 opera recordings made at the Sofia Theater in Bulgaria (O Guarani, Maria Tudor), at the Sherbone theater in England (Macbeth), Manaus Theater (Madame Butterfly) and the Peace Theater Belem (Magic Flute, il Pagliacci).

The film’s soundtracks are original compositions produced with a strong influence on regional Pantanal sounds mixed with a cinematographic language to guide the viewer during the plot.

Several songs were also produced, always addressing the main theme of the film and the Pantanal experiences. with the participation of more than 40 artists such as the Orquestra Filarmônica de Paraisópolis under the baton of conductor Bruno Araújo, Renato Teixeira, Chico Teixeira, and several instrumentalists.

For the pre-production and preparation of the actors, Breno de Filippo, Priscila Sol, Danilo Sacramento, Marcos Breda and Jackson Antunes, a great immersion in the Pantanal universe and the off-road 4×4 rally was made.

The off-road preparation was intense for Breno and Marcos Breda, as several scenes were filmed in a real competition situation with a lot of navigation and speed. The scenery chosen for these scenes were the Arizona Desert in the USA and Jalapão. Actor Marcos Breda quickly adapted to the 4×4 universe due to his experience as a kart driver, quickly becoming familiar with spreadsheet navigation, the terms used and the way to communicate in the car.

Breno de Filippo, took an intensive course in 4×4 piloting for the scene recordings where the close-up was necessary. The wonderful scenery of Jalapão and its incredible landscapes closed this stage of shooting.

Danilo Sacramento and Pri Sol spent two weeks working with cattle on the Pantanal farms, following the day and especially the relationship with the horse and nature.

Tuiuiú was the name chosen by Pri Sol for her Pantanal horse. All the action scenes with the horses were recorded by the actors themselves. Jackson Antunes with more experience with horses felt right at home.

The beauty of the Pantanal scenery brings a diversity of birds, insects and animals that are found in open, free environments. Wherever we pointed our camera, life was there.

In order to capture all this beauty, the production spent several periods on the farms that served as filming locations. Fazenda São Bento near the Miranda River was the basis for the scenes where the dry and wet seasons were filmed. The entire team spent more than 60 days in this process, divided into two seasons of the year.

The first shootings were made between September and October 2019, and  started again in the river  flooding season in March 2021.

The farms chosen for the film’s locations are examples of preservation and sustainability.

With projects for the preservation and protection of animals, birds, vegetation and the Pantanal plains. All the projects mentioned in the movie are real. The Jaguar Project (Projeto Onça Pintada), Fazenda Caimasul: alligator farming.

The commitment to preservation is part of the day of the pantaneiro, some farmers already know that a part of their annual cattle production (on average 900 heads) will be food for jaguars, calculations indicated that more than 90 jaguars lived in one of the farms on the edge of Serra da Bodoquena.

The film seeks to rescue the traditions and passions of this beautiful region of Brazil. The “PANTANAL” wetlands are rich in diversity and life. The preservation and sustainable use of the region are the main factors to preserve this ecosystem for future generations.
